Best Park in Guam. Guam Park. guam travel, Guam is and island that is rich in history and culture. Aside from their pretty good beaches and warm people, anyone can say that the island’s culture is interesting enough to make them visit the place. Below are the few parks of the island that I found amusing. Latte Stone Park – found nowhere else in the world, this latte stones are pillars on which Chamorro houses were constructed around 500 A.D. Latte stones remains untouched and respected since the bones of ancient Charomorro’s including their possessions (like canoes or jewelries) were buried below these stones. The latte stones were made up of only two pieces structure. The first one was from a coral limestone which serves as the column and in top of it was a coral head. Chief Quipuha Park – was named after chief Quipuha himself. Quipuha was the first Chamorro Chief to allow himself to be baptized under the Catholic religion. War in the Pacific National Historic Park – is located north of Asan Beach Park. It was founded last 18th of August of year 1978 in remembrance to the sacrifice and bravery of the people that participated in the campaigns of the Pacific Theater of World War II and also to keep historical values and objects on the island.
