It’s always good to be reminded of your past so you have a more clear view of where you’re going. I bring my kids here once in awhile to learn about our history. My son is very interested about World War I & II.
Me and my husband decided to visit War in the Pacific National Historical Park this summer for our kids. As we value our culture and history we also want to impart this importance to them as early as now by enjoying this kind of activity.
This national park serves as a silent reminders of the bloody World War II battles that had happened in Guam. Historical places and facts should’t be just forgotten. Visiting here with your kids is a good start to teach them how to appreciate history and culture.
I brought my students here for an educational trip. I was pleased with the support from the staff of this National Park in teaching and influencing the kids/student to be thankful about history. They provided me with power point lectures and handouts that I can use for teaching story of Guam’s role in World War II.
