Best Piti Activities in Guam. Guam Piti Activities. guam travel, Piti is a village located on the western shore of Guam. This village is the home for the commercial ports of the island at Apra Harbor plus several of the island’s largest power plants. The village’s name is likely derived from the Chamorro word puti, which means to hurt or ache. The village is a small residential area with curved two-lane roads and a scattering of homes, many of which were there since a decade after World War II. The villages’ most prominent features are and the Mike S. Tajalle Baseball Field and Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. The village proper is situated on the cliff side of Marine Corps Drive, just across from Cabras Island. Most Guam residents know the village of Piti from what they see along Marine Corps Drive which is Guam’s main thoroughfare. The first landmark in the village along Marine Corps Drive when heading southbound is the Piti Underwater Observatory. The observatory sticks out from the coastline into the ocean. Famous spots that you might like to visit in this village would be:
Fish Eye Marine Park,
Mahogany Forest,
Piti Bomb Holes Preserves,
Atlantis Guam,
Santa Cruz Shrine,
Piti Guns, and much more. Guam Piti | z 1:25 am | Monday, December 29, 2008 | HotGuam-Fun | 23:46 | https://fun.hotguam.com/sea-turtle-sunset-cruise | 2009, January 17, Saturday | guam vacation, 1:25 | Saturday, January 17th, 2009 | 11:46 pm
